"Band from Misfit Beach"

The "Band From Misfit Beach" is an energetic positive group of retired guys that get to live surrounded by the waters of the Chesapeake Bay in the Northern Neck of Virginia. We began in 2024 when we decided to get together once a week and just enjoy sharing our musical talents with one another. After a year of playing together we began to play out once a month with the support of our generous friends and family for absolutely FREE! The goal was to use our shared love of music to promote compassionate unity within our community, energize the economy for the local venues we chose to play at while helping those within the community that are in need. In our breakout year of 2025 we were blown away by the generosity of our friend/fan base who proudly call themselves "Misfits". Through the "Misfit's" overwhelming generosity we were able to raise and give away over $40,000 to local charities and bring an additional $50,000 to local venues . By joining together and putting aside political and religious differences and focusing on the love and importance of every soul  in our shared community... nothing can stop us "Misfits" as we gather together and use the power of Pop-up Parties to make a difference and change lives! We hope to see you soon on the dance floor!

Someone who accepts themselves just the way the are. Realizing that they are perfectly imperfect. Realizing that they don't know everything. Realizing that since everyone is uniquely and wonderfully created differently through different experiences we don't have a right or desire to judge. "Misfits" put their own individual character before politics or religion. "Misfits" realize that when we give... we will always have what we need . "Misfits"  know that life is not about getting more of what you want... it's about wanting and being happy with what you already have!
